BTS and Coldplay's 'My Universe' Ranks on US Billboard's 'Hot 100' For the 7th Time

BTS continues their streak on the US Billboard chart with their collaboration song with Coldplay! "My Universe" remains in its spot on the chart for seven consecutive weeks.

On November 16, the latest chart released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, posted that "My Universe," which was released on September 24 by BTS and Coldplay, was Billboard's single chart Hot 100.

The song ranked 43rd on the top 100 this week and it has been on the chart since October 9.

Furthermore, it ranked 13th on "Digital Song Sales," 10th "Adult Pop Airplay," 20th on "Canadian Digital Song Sales," 20th on "Pop Airplay," and 31st on "Billboard Canadian Hot 100."

BTS ranked four songs on the "Billboard Global 200" and "Billboard Global (excluding the United States)" charts, which announced the ranking by counting streaming and sales in over 200 countries or regions all over the world.

On the "Billboard Global 200" chart, "My Universe" has taken the 13th spot, "Butter" at 27th, "Dynamite" at 45th and "Permission to Dance" at 61st. While in the "Billboard Global (excluding the US)" chart, "My Universe" ranked 9th, "Butter" at 15th, "Dynamite" at 28th, and "Permission to Dance" ranked at 36th.

Moreover, tvN's "Jirisan" OST Part 4 "Yours," which was released on the 7th with the participation of BTS Jin, ranked 2nd on the "Digital Song Sales" chart, and the "Billboard Global (excluding the US)" and "Billboard Global 200" charts at 67th and 90th respectively.

"My Universe" also ranked 12th in the "Official Singles Chart Top 100" in the UK's Official Latest Chart (as of November 12), rising by one spot from the previous week.

BTS Wins Awards at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards

On November 14, the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards (also referred to as EMA) was held in Budapest, Hungary. Among all the winners, BTS stood out the most as they came out as the artist who took home the most wins during this year's awards ceremony.

The septet won Best Pop and Best Group, beating all the international contenders nominated in the said categories.

Aside from that, K-Pop also has its own category at the awards show, BTS won Best K-Pop after a close competition with fellow Korean artists MONSTA X, NCT 127, TWICE, and BLACKPINK members Lisa and Rose.

Lastly, BTS was also nominated in the Biggest Fans category, alongside big stars such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and BLACKPINK. BTS also took home this award.

This is not the first time that BTS received a nomination at the MTV EMA in 2014. However, they just won their first award in 2015, where they won Best Korean Act, and they also received a nomination for the category Best Asian Act.

Ever since BTS managed to win at least one award each year, the septet now has a total of 14 awards.
