BTS gears up for the 2021 American Music Awards. The septet leaves for Los Angeles today in preparation for the event, and they will perform "Butter" with Megan Thee Stallion during the awards show.
BTS Departs to Los Angeles for the American Music Awards
The Bangtan Boys were spotted at the Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 on November 17. They will be attending the 2021 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, USA on November 21.
The boys were seen dressed up in semi casual outfits that were made for the cool weather.
Last November 8, The "American Music Awards" unveiled the list of artists that will perform during this year's awards shows through the event's official website and SNS channels.
The list showed that BTS will attend the event and will perform their track "Butter."
In particular, the performance will be on a joint stage with American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion who participated in the remix version of the song.
After the 2021 AMA, they will be meeting the ARMYs through their "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - L.A. concert which will be held at the SoFi Stadium on November 27-28 and December 1-2.
When the news of their departure to L.A. came out, ARMYs are expressing their excitement and wishes for the Bangtan Boys to have a safe flight with the hashtag, "#haveasafeflightBTS" which now the top trending on Twitter.

BTS Returns to Concert Stage After Two Years
Now that the world is slowly returning to the state before the COVID-19 pandemic happened, artists worldwide are now announcing their concert schedules one by one before reaching the year-end, it is considered to be the most important part of the year.
In particular, K-Pop stars are now paying attention as they are doing their best to resume their overseas activities, beginning with their domestic concerts.
BTS is the first K-Pop group to hold an overseas concert, they will hold the "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage - LA" concert on November 27 - 28 and December 1-2 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA.
It is the first time in two years that BTS will meet their fans directly on stage instead of online.
For the record, this is the first face-to-face event in the world since the COVID-19 began. This is actually the first face-to-face event since the corona pandemic.
Tickets are sold out early and ARMYs all over the world are even buying the tickets even if it is worth thousands of dollars.

BTS and Coldplay's 'My Universe' Remains on the US Billboard Chart for Seven Weeks in a Row!
Billboard released on November 16 that "My Universe" which was released last September 24 by BTS and Coldplay, ranked on Billboard's single chart Hot 100.
The song took the 43rd spot on the top 100 this week and it has been on the chart ever since its release on October 9.
Moreover, it ranked 13th on "Digital Song Sales," 10th "Adult Pop Airplay," 20th on "Canadian Digital Song Sales," 20th on "Pop Airplay," and 31st on "Billboard Canadian Hot 100."
BTS ranked four of their songs on the "Billboard Global 200" and "Billboard Global (excluding the United States)" charts, which revealed the ranking by counting the streaming and sales in around 200 countries or regions worldwide.
