On Nov. 21 local time, People released an article covering the seven "can't-miss" moments of Bangtan Boys at this year's American Music Awards.
The first one is BTS hitting the red carpet of the 2021 AMA and leaving everyone in awe of their visuals while they were dressed up in suits.

While on the red carpet, the septet checked in with People's Janine Rubenstein and Jeremy Parsons to answer a few questions related to their performance and nomination at the awards show.
Next, BTS took the time to snap a selfie with "Have Mercy" singer Chloe Bailey, who recently revealed that she's a big fan of the K-pop boy group.

During her interview with People, Chloe mentioned her wish to meet BTS that night and luckily, that one wish of hers came true. She later took a pair of selfies with RM, Jungkook, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, V and Jimin on the red carpet.
Chloe Bailey then shared these pictures on Twitter and wrote "Can you see how happy I am" together with two crying emojis. A lucky fangirl indeed.
Another can't-miss moment of BTS at the American Music Awards is the Korean act meeting New Kids on the Block. The latter even shared a picture of them on Twitter. It's not every day we get to see two popular boy bands together.
People also listed BTS's "My Universe" performance with Coldplay as the group's "can't-miss moments" at the 2021 AMA. This is the first time the two bands performed their collab track on stage together in front of actual people.
During the interview with People on the red carpet, RM shared that their collaboration with Chris Martin felt "organic" and that the British singer expressed "My Universe" as a gift for them.
And, of course, BTS winning awards at the 2021 AMA is definitely a must-see moment. Following their performance of "My Universe," they were called the winner of Favorite Pop Duo or Group.

Shortly after, the septet won the Favorite Pop Song for their English hit "Butter" and the biggest award of the night "Artist of the Year."
To complete the list, People included BTS's "Butter" performance, which ended the 2021 AMA with a bang. The seven members, dressed in yellow, danced to the song with the crowd before bidding farewell to one another.
BTS Trends after Bagging the Grand Prize at the 2021 AMA, "Artist of the Year"
Bangtan Boys ranked first on Twitter's trending topics after earning several trophies at the American Music Awards, one of which is the biggest award, "Artist of the Year."
Out of joy, fans of the band took to Twitter to send their congratulatory messages to the boys and also trended several hashtags.
The hashtag "#BTSxAMAs" topped the trending topics followed by the phrases "Artist of the Year" and "Congratulations BTS."
BTS made history as the first Asian artist to win "Artist of the Year" at the American Music Awards.
