BTS' 'Butter', TWICE's 'SCIENTIST' & More are the Most-Talked-About Songs on Twitter This Week

On this week's Billboard Hot Trending Songs Chart, tracks by Korean artists such as BTS, TWICE, BLACKPINK Lisa and more once again made to the list.

On Nov. 24, Billboard released the Top 20 most popular songs by any artist on Twitter. The rankings are based on the number of mentions accumulated in the past week, which ran from Nov. 12 to 18.

BTS, Jin, The Boyz and More are the Male Artists on This Week's Billboard's Hot Trending Songs Chart

Among the songs by K-pop artists that landed on the Top 20 list, a total of 10 tracks were released by male groups, showing steady popularity among fans around the world.

In particular, BTS impressively entered five songs this week with the same tracks in the past week except for one. First, the septet's smash hit "Butter" remained at No. 1 with 5.8 million Twitter mentions gathered in the past seven days.

According to Billboard, a large portion of the Twitter mentions were due to BTS's "Butter" being nominated for Favorite Pop Song at the 2021 American Music Awards and later winning the title.

Finally, the last song entry of female K-pop acts this week is BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY," which took the No. 12 spot. Like "LALISA," it has marked its fifth week on the chart.

As it consistently ranks on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs Chart, "MONEY" is the most-talked-about B-side song by any Korean act to date.
