The Korean Business Research Institute has released the singer brand reputation rankings for October 2021 and K-pop artists including BTS, aespa, IU and more made it to the list.
The rankings were determined by analyzing the singer's interaction, media coverage, consumer participation and community awareness indexes, using big data accumulated from Oct. 27 to Nov. 27.
BTS, aespa and IU are among the Most Popular Korean Singers in November 2021
On this month's list, BTS climbed to the No. 1 spot after earning a total brand reputation index of 15,360,053. The septet was previously in second place in the rankings.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute's data, BTS saw an increase in their participation index, media index and communication index. On the other hand, the group saw a decrease in their community index.

Another K-pop act to enter the Top 5 of this month's singer brand reputation rankings is the rookie girl group aespa, who claimed third place. The quartet garnered a brand reputation index of 6,565,822.
On the list for October, aespa ranked fifth so this means the band jumped two positions this month. Their indexes in participation, media coverage, interaction and community awareness this November all increased.

Besides BTS and aespa, IU also landed inside the Top 5 of this month's list. The "Celebrity" singer has a brand reputation index of 5,253,556.
Although IU was previously in third place and went down to No. 5, she remains the most popular female Korean singer.
Meanwhile, the second and fourth places were held by trot singers Im Young Woong and Lee Chan Won respectively.
BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, TWICE & More are the Most Popular Korean Singers in November 2021
More K-pop groups and soloists can be found on the singer brand reputation rankings for November this year.
Taking the No. 6 spot on the list is BLACKPINK. After claiming No. 8 in October, the quartet climbed up two positions this month.
SEVENTEEN and TWICE also ascended in the rankings, securing Nos. 8 and 10 respectively. Notably, the boy group jumped up one spot while the girl group jumped up five places.

Meanwhile, the Korean singers who took the Nos. 7 and 9 are trot singers Jeong Dong Won and Young Tak reputation respectively.
Regarding the other K-pop soloists who are some the most popular Korean singers this November are Kang Daniel, Girls' Generation Taeyeon, Jessi, Jeon Somi, Red Velvet Joy and WINNER Song Mino. Compared to the solo artists who ranked inside the Top 30 last month, the soloists this month are fewer.
