IOK Company has welcomed ELRIS as their first K-pop group in the agency after the band's transfer from Hunus Entertainment.
ELRIS Moves from Hunus Entertainment to IOK Company, Home to B.I.
On Dec. 1, a representative from IOK Company announced that after an in-depth discussion about the future activities and potential growth of ELRIS with the band's initial label, Hunus Entertainment, they have reached an agreement to transfer the management of the girl group to IOK Company.
The rep added that they are delighted to start working with ELRIS and that the label promises not to withhold any support from the group so that the band can meet the fans with more active promotions soon while they grow as artists."

With that said, ELRIS now joins IOK Company's roster of actors such as Jo In Sung, Go Hyun Jung, Shin Hye Sun, Kim Ha Neul and more. The agency also now manages former iKON member B.I. (who is also a shareholder) after they expanded into the music production industry earlier this year.
ELRIS originally debuted as a five-member group under Hunus Entertainment in June 2017. Three years later, the label added two new members namely Chaejeong and EJ, making the band a septet.

ELRIS then made their first comeback as a seven-piece band in February of last year with their fourth mini-album "Jackpot."
Meanwhile, Hunus Entertainment is currently home to two idol groups (XENO-T and ROMEO) and many actors including Ahn Se Ha, Jin Ye Sol, Kim Yoon Seo, Park Yoon Jae, Yoon So Yi and more.

About ELRIS and Their Latest Comeback with 'Jackpot'
ELRIS is Hunus Entertainment's first girl group in five years since EvoL in 2012. Its five original members are Bella, Hyeseong, Yukyung, Sohee and Karin. Sohee and Karin are known to be former contestants on "K-pop Star 6."
Regarding the group name, it is an acronym for "Excellent, Lovely, Rainbow, Innocent and Sister."
ELRIS was officially launched on June 1, 2017 with their first mini-album "We, First," which is composed of five songs including the title track of the same name. As they were a new group, they only sold 4,344 copies in South Korea.
Three months later, the quintet made its first comeback with their second EP "Color Crush," which also contains the title song "Pow Pow" and five other tracks.

In 2020, three years after their debut, ELRIS welcomed two new members namely EJ and Chaejeong. EJ will contribute her skills as both a vocalist and a rapper, while Chaejeong will become another power dancer of the group alongside the main dancer Sohee.
On Feb. 26 of last year, ELRIS dropped their fourth mini-album "Jackpot," which comprises five tracks including the titular lead single. "Jackpot" is the band's first album in nearly two years and marks the group's first release as a septet.
"Jackpot" peaked at No. 19 on the Gaon Album Chart at the time it was released and sold a total of 3,880 copies in South Korea.
