Once set up to be one of the most anticipated girl groups in K-pop, HINAPIA has since disappeared, and the members have gone under the K-pop radar. Want to know what happened to HINAPIA? Then keep on reading!
HINAPIA's Debut and Disbandment
HINAPIA debuted on November 3, 2019, with the single "DRIP." Before their debut, the group gained attention for being comprised of four former PRISTIN members and one new member. Minkyeung, Yaebin, Gyeongwon and Eunwoo signed with OSR Entertainment following PRISTIN's disbandment and recruited a new member named Bada.
On February 2, 2020, it was reported that HINAPIA was planning to make their comeback in early 2020, with the company stating they will take on a "more mature look." However, in August 2021, OSR Entertainment announced that the group would be disbanded and that the members had their contracts terminated. The reason given was due to financial constraits brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The group disbanded on August 21, 2020, after only ten months as a group.
Where are the HINAPIA Members Now?
