Do you still remember the girl group behind the iconic K-pop tracks "Bang!" and "Diva"? Six years after their unofficial disbandment in 2015, here is the current status of the 11 original members.
In particular, After School is a second-generation girl group introduced in 2009 under Pledis Entertainment. They are one of the female groups who challenged the concept of admission and graduation of members from a group.
As soon as they debuted, After School gained popularity and were loved for their tracks such as "Diva," "Bang!" "Shampoo" and "Shh."
However, in 2015, Pledis Entertainment halted their group promotions to focus on their individual careers; since then, the members one by one went on their separate paths.
Here Are Current Activities of the After School Members 2021:
1. Nana

In 2021, Nana will be the only active member of After School under Pledis. After hiatus, the female idol focused on her career as an actress and model.
On Dec. 8, Nana, who has been with the agency for 12 years, renewed her contract once again and will continue to promote as an actress.
Despite being the only member, Nana is still promoting under the group's name, After School Nana.
2. Raina
In June, Raina returned to the K-pop scene for a reunion with other After School members Kahi, Jungah, Jooyeon, and Bekah, for a special appearance in 'MMTG' hosted by JaeJae.
Raina, the former leader, still grace the K-pop scene with her vocals and even joined "Miss Back."
In December, she avows a new music career as a solo artist as she signed a contract with AER Music.
3. E-Young
In 2019, E-Young left After School after contract expiration with Pledis.
But the lead vocalist assures fans that she will still promote as an artist as in 2020, E-Young started her one-man agency.
4. Kaeun
Amidst hiatus since 2015, Kaeun tried her luck and joined Mnet's "Produce 48" in 2018, where she claimed to be her last chance as an idol. However, she was eliminated after reaching 14th place in the finale.
In 2019, she left Pledis and embarked on her career as an actress.
In 2021, Kaeun received positive reviews after her appearance in the Korean drama, "High Class."
5. Lizzy
After graduation in 2018, Lizzy changed her stage name to Park Soo Ah to start anew as an actress under the new agency Celltrion Entertainment.
Amidst rise as an actress, Park hit a taxi while driving drunk in May 2021, and receives a fine for the DUI incident.
6. UEE
In 2017, UEE graduated from After School. UEE is one of the most popular members, who is also praised a lot for her flawless acting. Since she left the agency, UEE focused on her acting career and rose as a top-tier female actress in the industry.
In 2021, UEE confirmed her appearance in the upcoming drama, "Ghost Doctor" alongside Rain and Kim Bum, which is set to air in 2022.
7. Jungah
In 2016, Jungah debuted as a solo artist after graduation from the team in the same year.
In 2021, she amazed K-pop enthusiasts after performing with After School during their MMTG reunion despite being pregnant with her second child.
In particular, Jungah got married to her long-time partner Jung Chang Young in 2018 and had their son in 2019. In October this year, Jungah revealed she gave birth to a daughter.
8. Jooyeon
When Jooyeon left After School, she pursued her career as an actress. Some of her noteworthy dramas include "The King," "Saimdang, Memoir of Colors," "The Undateables," and "Devilish Charm."
In 2021, she left Better ENT and signed with C-JeS Entertainment.
9. So Young

So Young was briefly promoted as After School as she just left in October after their debut in 2009.
According to the idol actress, her initial goal was to become an actress, and considering her health, she decided to pursue it earlier.
Since then, she was promoted as an actress and was seen in numerous dramas such as "Miss Hammurabi," and "The Birth of a Married Woman."
10. Bekah
When Bekah left After School in 2011, she moved to Hawaii and pursued her dream to become a designer.
In 2021, Bekah still communicates with fans through her personal YouTube channel, where she updates her life in the U.S. and occasionally uploads her covers.
11. Kahi
Last but not least, Kahi pursued her solo career after parting ways with the team in 2012. Since then, she released two solo albums until she left Pledis in 2015.
In 2016, she became a mentor for Mnet's "Produce" series and also got married in the same year.
In 2021, Kahi often shows her unrelenting dance skills on her YouTube. In November, Kahi announced her return to the entertainment scene as one of the lead cast for the reality show "Mom Is an Idol."
