JYP Entertainment Cancels TWICE's First Day of Concert in Seoul
On December 16, TWICE's management agency, JYP Entertainment, issued a notice regarding TWICE's upcoming concert in Seoul on its official website.
The announcement indicates that TWICE's offline concert that is scheduled for December 24 has been canceled. It was scheduled to be held for three days from December 24 to 26. The concert for the 24th, which is Friday, has been canceled in accordance with the strict social distancing guidelines because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, the operating hours of the KSPO Dome have been moved and activities in the venue were limited until 9:00 PM.
TWICE's concert is expected to start at around 7:30 in the evening, and its running time is estimated to reach at least two hours and 30 minutes; it will exceed the 9:00 PM closing time of the venue. So, it has been decided to cancel the first day and make adjustments in the schedule of the next days of the concert.
The agency added that they will issue a refund to those who purchased the ticket for the December 24 concert.

To make up for the cancelled event, JYPE declared that TWICE's performance for December 26 can also be watched online through Beyond LIVE.
Below is the full statement of JYP Entertainment regarding the cancellation of TWICE's December 24 performance:
Hello, this is JYPE,
We would like to inform you that we have decided to cancel the offline performance of TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR 'III' on December 24 (Friday) in accordance with the strengthened social distancing guideline due to the ongoing spread of the coronavirus.
JYPE is doing its best to prepare offline performances that are safe for both audiences and artists by faithfully implementing the social distancing guidelines of relevant government departments and quarantine authorities. However, the performance on December 24 (Friday) is inevitably cancelled due to the limited operating hours of the venue due to strict social distancing guidelines. Therefore, this performance will be held only as an offline performance on December 25 - 26 (Saturday and Sunday) and an online performance on December 26 (Sunday) through Beyond LIVE.
We will inform you in detail about the cancellation and refund procedures for purchased offline concert tickets through a separate notice at a later date. We will do our best to expedite the refund process.
We sincerely apologize for the cancellation of the concert on December 24 (Friday) to all those who have been looking forward to TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR "III" offline performance.

TWICE to Hold '4TH WORLD TOUR 'III' Concert in Five Major Cities in the U.S. + Tickets Sell Out Fast
Aside from the three day concert in Seoul, TWICE will also be holding their "4TH WORLD TOUR 'III" in five major cities of the United States.
Upon the launch of the presale of tickets, fans immediately bought their own and it sold out fast enough that JYP Entertainment decided to add two more venues for the concert.
Because of the recent cancellation, ONCEs are expressing their anticipation that the other days and venues of TWICE's concert will also get cancelled too. But the agency has not yet given more details about calling off the event.
