BTS Suga Hits 324 Million Views on YouTube with 'Daechwita,' Highest Solo Record Among BTS Members
On December 17, "Daechwita" MV, from Suga's mixtape "D-2" released on May 22, 2020, surpassed 324 million views on YouTube. On December 14, it hit 323 million views, and now it's set a record of achieving an additional 1 million views in just 3 days.
"Daechwita" is Suga's first song to hit over 300 million views among other song released by his alternate name, Agust D. Moreover, the MV holds the record of having the most views among the other solo songs of BTS members.
August D previously recorded 306 million views and he joined the ranks of K-Pop solo artists who successfully hit over 300 million views on YouTube along with EXO Chanyeol, Psy, and co-member J-Hope.

The "Daechwita" MV has shown global popularity by achieving 11 million likes on YouTube last June 25. Then, as of December 17, it has recorded over 12 million likes.
"Daechwita" has created a different atmosphere with its traditional marching music. In the music video, Suga is featured to be telling a story about a king.

With the release of "Girl of My Dreams" by Juice Wrld featuring Suga last December 10, the BTS rapper managed to set a new major record on US Spotify. The song is one of the tracks of Juice Wrld's posthumous album, "Fighting Demons."
Suga has extended his record of having the biggest debut by a K-pop soloist on Spotify by having 1,149,184 streams for the track "Girl of My Dreams," which exceeded his own record. Moreover, he held the record for "SUGA's Interlude" with 500,935 streams.

"SUGA's Interlude" was produced by Suga and performed by Halsey. It is the third promotional single from the third studio album of Halsey, "Manic."
The last spot belongs to "Daechwita" by Agust D with 425,793 streams. "Daechwita" is the title song of Suga's second self-produced mixtape, released in 2020. It quickly debuted at the 76th spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which makes him the first Korean soloist to chart on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts simultaneously.
"Girl of My Dreams" also owns the second-largest debut on Spotify. It surpassed BTS' "Permission to Dance" and it follows BTS' "Butter."
BTS Suga's musical talent is evident on BTS' tracks as he produced many songs of the group and composed and produced songs for international artists and ads.
