Park Myung Soo Reveals Having Cried Because of What IU Did For His Daughter
Recently, comedian and DJ Park Myung Soo talked about hitmaker and solo artist, IU, in the December 17 broadcast of his very own radio program on KBS Cool FM, "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show."
On this day, Jeon Min Ki came as the show's guest, and talked about Christmas K-Pop songs. Jeon Min Ki mentioned IU's 2010 Christmas track, "Merry Christmas in Advance," which has remained popular and well-loved in the country through the years despite being released from over a decade ago.
Hearing about IU, Park Myung Soo began talking about the "Strawberry Moon" singer, and playfully said, "Seriously, IU. How much of the K-Pop world are you planning to take over? What is your reason for doing that?"
After his playful comment, Park Myung Soo then recalled the time he cried because of IU not too long ago because she gave a special gift to his daughter.
"My daughter wanted to get an autograph from IU, so I asked IU if she could send me an autograph. She sent one to my daughter with such heartwarming words. I cried after my daughter received that," Park Myung Soo shares.

Park Myung Soo continued to praise IU, such as both her music and personality. "I mean, IU's music is amazing, and she is just so talented. But she shines even more because she has such an amazing personality," Park Myung Soo said.
After praising IU, the DJ also talked about having worked with IU in the past for a collaboration performance for the song festival held by MBC's past variety show "Infinite Challenge," back in 2015.
Reminiscing about that time, Park Myung Soo said, "When I worked with IU though, she is scarier than anyone I know. She has this certain charisma. She is very professional."

He then mentioned how IU would be the one to direct his recording for their song "LEON," which made him scared of her.
"She was like, 'Could you sing that part one more time, please?' I could see why all of her songs are perfect," Park Myung Soo added.
IU's Latest Release
In other news, back on October 19, IU released her latest digital single, "Strawberry Moon." The song was composed and written by IU, and features a soft piano melody and acoustic guitar, accompanied with IU's sweet voice.
"Strawberry Moon" hopes to express the feelings of reminiscing about the fantasy moments that may not come often or again, but is something that everyone experiences at least once in their life.
