VERIVERY to Not Continue U.S. Tour due to Member Yongseung Testing Positive for COVID-19
On Dec. 5, VERIVERY began their first-ever U.S. tour, which includes nine stops across the United States. Kicking off the tour in Los Angeles, they will continue to hold concerts in Tempe, Dallas, Houston, St. Louis, Fort Wayne, Cleveland and Harrisburg. They will then wrap up the tour in New York City.
However, on Dec. 17 local time, VERIVERY announced the cancelation of their concert in Cleveland, which is supposed to be their seventh stop.

The boy group's agency Jellyfish Entertainment explained that all VERIVERY members and staff taking part in the "202 VERIVERY 1st Tour in U.S." were fully vaccinated in November. They continued that each member was tested for COVID-19 before each performance day in compliance with the local council's regulations.
"However, abnormal symptoms have been found today, and as such, all VERIVERY members and staff underwent PCR test," Jellyfish Entertainment revealed. Later in the evening, the company announced the results of their PCR tests: Yongseung received a positive result for COVID-19 while all of the other VERIVERY members and staff tested negative.

The label went on to announce that due to Yongseung testing positive for the virus, they decided to cancel all schedules of VERIVERY, including the shows set to take place in Cleveland, Harrisburg and New York.
Jellyfish Entertainment then concluded that they will do their best to ensure Yongseung's quick recovery and the safe return of the artists and staff.

VERIVERY's Latest Comeback with "Series 'O' Round 2: Hole"
Ahead of VERIVERY's U.S. tour, the boy group made a comeback in August with their sixth EP "Series 'O' Round 2: Hole." This album comes after their second single album "Series 'O' Round 1: Hall," which was dropped in March.
Out of the five songs from VERIVERY's sixth EP, "TRIGGER" serves as the title track. "TRIGGER" is a mid-tempo Glitch hop song with a unique and addicting intro.

With "Series 'O' Round 2: Hole," the boy group doubled their first-week sales record on the Hanteo Chart. In just two days of release, the album already managed to surpass the band's first-week sales record of 24,816 copies obtained by their 2020 album "FACE US." The total first-week sales amount of VERIVERY's sixth EP reached 49,596 copies.
Regarding its chat performance, "Series 'O' Round 2: Hole" and "TRIGGER" ranked No. 1 on the United States' iTunes Album chart and K-pop Song chart respectively. "TRIGGER" also topped the charts in Germany, France and the United Kingdom, and even placed first on the overall iTunes K-pop Songs chart.
For the week ending on Sept. 4, VERIVERY's "TRIGGER" debuted and peaked at No. 4 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. It also landed on Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart and spent two weeks on the tally.
