2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje Highlights
The 2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje was hosted by ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, AOA Seolhyun, and SF9 Rowoon, and was held on December 17 at 8:30 PM (KST).
The main show began with the video featuring the performances of the past KBS Gayo Daechukje, such as the past performance of BTS and TWICE.
This year's festival also boasted amazing lineup and spectacular performances, ranging from TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) and ENHYPEN's collaboration and the joint performance of six girl groups' (F9) selected members which ignited interest from K-pop fans.

At the 2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje, a situation where K-pop artists and fans couldn't meet face to face because of COVID-19, the theme was "WITH," which indicates that "together, we are strong."
The music festival also highlights Korea's culture. In some of the performances from the artists, traditional places in Korea are in the background.
2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje, a Memorable Event for Artists
This year's KBS Gayo Daechukje marks IVE's first festival performance on stage, and it is memorable for them because they just debuted weeks ago.
Moreover, some of their members joined the nine-girl collaboration, named F9, with selected girls from other K-pop girl groups, Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, Brave Girls, ITZY, and STAYC - and performed the song "Cheer Up" by Girls' Generation.
The KBS stage heated up when TXT and ENHYPEN's collaboration finally graced the stage. They performed the song "Fire" by their sunbaenim, BTS. Their set was intense that the audience was overwhelmed by their visuals during their performance.
Sunmi boasted a sexy aura with her intro song "Tail" she exuded sensual looks during her performance. It was then followed by her singing "You Can't Sit With Us," which is way different from the former.
In this song, she gave off cute school girl charms as she donned a full-on cosplay of League of Legends' Jinx!
Kang Daniel performed his song "Antidote," which made the audience feel the emotions of the song. He digested the feelings perfectly that even the viewers could feel the intensity of his choreography.
aespa made everyone have the "last-song-syndrome" once again with their singles "Next Level" and "Savage."
After their set, the emcees also sang the catchy line of the song, "I'm on the next level yeah," while doing the choreography of that part.
ITZY performed their hits "Mafia (In The Morning)" and "LOCO," showing intense choreography and a theme similar to halloween.
SEVENTEEN performed their hits "Crush," "Ready to Love" and "Rock With You." They energized the audience with their fast tempo and catchy tunes.
The last group to perform was Red Velvet with their "Psycho" and "Queendom." The girls entered the stage with a powerful and model-like walk, showcasing their queen attitude.
The event ended with all of the K-pop artists on the 2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje stage. They sang altogether the single "All For You" by Seo In Guk and Jeong Eun Jee, and gave the artists the opportunity to interact with one another, showcasing togetherness and shunning competition in the K-pop industry.
Before the live broadcast ended, BTS appeared in a pre-recorded video, greeting the audience and giving a special message to all who have been affected by the global pandemic.
