BTS Becomes the First Artist to Simultaneously Decorate 11 Covers of GQ Korea and Vogue Korea
On December 21, KST, fashion magazines GQ Korea and Vogue Korea finally unveiled global superstars BTS' pictorials for the magazines, who is set to decorate the special edition covers of their January 2022 issue.
BTS, who is currently the global ambassador for luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton, graced the magazines by wearing the French brand's menswear collection and accessories during their photoshoots.
Not only did group photoshoots took place on set, but the seven members each had their own solo photoshoot featuring various concepts. In addition, video shoots were also done with a specially created media art wall as the group's background.
Following their photoshoot, BTS sat down with GQ Korea and Vogue Korea to share their thoughts on having promoted as a group for eight years after making their debut back in June 2013, their current interests, and their sincere thoughts about their plans for the future through solo interviews with each of the seven members.

The January 2022 issue of the BTS Special Edition, which was made possible through the collaboration between GQ Korea and Vogue Korea, will feature a total of 11 covers in total and over a hundred pages of the boy group alone. With three different types of covers for Vogue Korea, and eight types of covers for GQ Korea.
In particular, this will also mark BTS as the first-ever artist to decorate the 11 covers of two different magazines at the same time. Regarding this, GQ Korea and Vogue Korea said, "It is unprecedented for an artist to decorate the covers of the media outlets at the same time and publish a total of 11 covers."
In addition to their covers being published in South Korea, the BTS Special Edition pictorials will also decorate the covers of 12 different countries and regions of GQ and Vogue, including GQ Japan, GQ Australia, Vogue Hong Kong, and Vogue Singapore, among others.

BTS' Solo Covers for GQ Korea Become Best-Sellers
Meanwhile, BTS' Special Edition covers for both magazines began its pre-orders back on December 10 online. The January 2022 issue is made available at offline bookstores on December 21 KST.
Following the announcement of BTS gracing both magazines, the members' individual covers and group covers immediately became the best-sellers in numerous online stories, such as Yes24, Aladin, and Kyobobook, among others.
