MONSTA X's English Album 'The Dreaming' Debuts at the US Billboard 200 Chart

According to the latest chart released by Billboard on December 21, MONSTA X's second full-length English album "The Dreaming" ranked on the 21st spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

This is the second time that MONSTA X has entered the worldwide chart.

In addition to the Billboard 200, MONSTA X ranked 3rd on the Top Album Sales Chart, Top Current Album Sales, and Independent Album Chart, and was listed on a total of 6 Billboard charts including Billboard Canadian Album and Hot Trending Songs.

"The Dreaming" is a full-length English album released by MONSTA X after about a year and 10 months since "ALL ABOUT LUV." The album was completed by leader Shownu before his military service in July. It contains the message saying that "all of us, who lost a lot this year and found hope, are all connected through the medium of music."

Aside from that, MONSTA X's English album entered the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart after its release last December 10. It then debuted on the Top 10 of the chart, then took the 14th spot.

Furthermore, MONSTA X's "The Dreaming" also swiped the top spot of iTunes Album charts in seven countries. It even went at No. 7 on the US iTunes Album Chart and entered at No. 17 on the European iTunes Album Chart.

Through their agency, MONSTA X said, "We are grateful that we were able to release the full-length album 'The Dreaming' in English. As much as MONSTA X worked hard, the fans know that part and love it. We want to make it meaningful," he said.

A Busy Year for MONSTA X

This year, Monsta X released two mini-albums, "One Of A Kind" and "No Limit," in Korea, followed by the single "Wanted" and the 3rd regular album, "Flavors" in Japan was released, making the boys very busy.

However, despite their very busy schedule, the group is focused on the full album for worldwide fans. They composed a variety of tracks in a local pop genre style. Their title song "You Problem" is different from the music color previously presented by MONSTA X. Moreover, it features a disco-style rhythmic melody and its funky charm is outstanding.

Aside from the recent release of "The Dreaming," MONSTA X participated in the "Jingle Ball" tour, the biggest year-end show hosted by iHeartRadio, a famous US broadcasting station.

Then, after a tour in Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Atlanta, MONSTA X appeared on popular local radio and TV shows and completed promotions amid global interest and they went back to Korea on December 21.

Monsta X, which is cruising with good results following their promotion, is currently in self-quarantine for 10 days following the government's measures regarding overseas arrivals due to the spread of COVID-19 omicron mutation.
