TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) Surprises Fans with First-Ever Christmas Song 'Sweet Dreams'
On Dec. 22, Big Hit's boy group gifted fans with their first-ever Christmas track, entitled "Sweet Dreams." The new record, which was sung both in Korean and English, features a combination of piano sounds and R&B elements.
On the chorus, the TXT members (Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Soobin, Taehyun and Huening Kai) wish their fans "Merry merry Christmas" and "sweet dreams and good night".

Through the song, TOMORROW X TOGETHER contemplates the past 12 months and appreciates all of the best things this holiday season has to give: twinkling lights, snowfall and being with your loved ones.
According to a press release, the TXT members had direct participation in creating their Christmas song "Sweet Dreams": Taehyun and Soobin penned the lyrics, while Yeonjun helped with writing the melody. Huening Kai took part in both writing the lyrics and melody for the track.
The quintet teased this music release on Twitter, revealing the cover art for the festive track prior to its release. The cover shows the five members wearing beige sweaters taking selfies, with each picture placed onto a postage stamp.

"Sweet Dreams" comes after TXT's Japanese album "Chaotic Wonderland," which came out in November.
In addition to these two, TOMORROW X TOGETHER also dropped their second studio album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" and its repackaged version "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE."
The boy group also released a remix of "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" featuring American singer-songwriter Mod Sun. The original version of the song is the title track of the band's second studio album.

After "Sweet Dreams" was released, fans took to Twitter to celebrate the group's first holiday song. Hashtags such as "#메리_스윗드림_투바투마스" and "#TXT_Sweet_Dreams" trended at No. 1 and No. 2 in South Korea.
These two hashtags along with the phrases "TXT's First Holiday Track" and "Sweetest Dream" were inside the top 10 trending topics on Twitter worldwide.
Further, TOMORROW X TOGETHER was trending at No. 1 on MelOn real-time search while "Sweet Dreams" was trending at No. 6.

TXT Enters the Latest Weekly Billboard World Albums Chart with Two Albums
In other news, TXT made Billboard's World Albums chart for the week ending on Dec. 25. The quintet charted two different albums within the top 15 this week.
The group's first Japanese EP "Chaotic Wonderland" secured No. 9 in its second week on the tally, while their latest studio album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" remained at No. 12 in its 29th consecutive week, extending its record as the longest-running K-pop album released in 2021.
TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" recently made the Billboard 200 year-end chart. On the list, the album scored No. 197, though it peaked at No. 5 on the tally on June 13. "FREEZE" stayed on the chart for 13 non-consecutive weeks.
