Because only five members renewed their contracts, interest is rising whether Son Naeun, who signed with YG Entertainment as an actress, will participate in Apink's comeback in February 2022.

According to IST Entertainment, all members including Naeun will return to the K-pop scene next year.

Currently, Apink is preparing for their fan meeting "Pink Eve," which will take place at Sejong University's Daeyang Hall in Seoul on Dec. 31. At this fan meeting, the sextet will commemorate their 10th anniversary and look back on their past years together. Fans can also expect spectacular stages from the group.

Apink's "Look" comprises seven tracks including the title song "Dumhdurum" that Black Eyed Pilseung and Jeon Goon wrote. "Dumhdurum" quickly climbed up to No. 1 on major real-time charts in South Korea upon its release, namely MelOn, Bugs, Genie, Soribada and Naver Music.

Taking first place on MelOn is more meaningful as it is the first time in five years that Apink topped the chart since "Remember" in 2015. The track also ranked first on MelOn's daily chart on April 14, making Apink the first idol group to attain this feat in 2020.

"Look" debuted at No. 2 on the Gaon Album Chart, while "Dumhdurum" entered at No. 4 on the Gaon Digital Chart. The song peaked at No. 2 in its second week on the digital chart.
