The first lineup of performing artists at the 36th Golden Disc Awards has been revealed and favorite artists like BTS, aespa and ENHYPEN are included.

Here are the First Lineup of Performers at the 36th Golden Disc Awards
On Dec. 28, the Golden Disc Awards production team announced the first batch of singers who will appear and perform at the upcoming awards ceremony.
The lineup of performers includes aespa, ENHYPEN, The Boyz, BTS, Brave Girls, Lee Mu Jin, Lim Young Woong and Jeon Somi.

This 2021, aespa proved their potential as the next big idol group in K-pop with their hit songs "Next Level" and "Savage." ENHYPEN has also established themselves as a top rookie after becoming the second fourth-generation group to become a million-seller following Stray Kids.
The Boyz is also emerging as one of the fourth-generation leaders in K-pop as their recent albums, "THRILL-ING" and "MAVERICK" both saw a significant increase in sales since the group's debut.
This is the second consecutive year that The Boyz will decorate the stage of the Golden Disc Awards with an explosive stage.

BTS, who had music fans from around the world falling in love with their mega-hit song "Butter," prepared a surprise gift exclusively for the upcoming awards show.
Since the BTS members are currently in self-quarantine after finishing their schedule in the United States, the septet will not show up at the live event but will release a video recorded during the "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA" concert, which has been completed in early December.
Meanwhile, Brave Girls will make their first-ever appearance at the 36th Golden Disc Awards throughout their career. The quartet attained immense popularity this 2021 after their five-year-old song "Rollin'" attracted attention on YouTube.

Jeon Somi, who will also perform at the awards ceremony, caused the "DUMB DUMB Challenge" craze on TikTok. The challenge is attracting attention due to the point choreography called "Batman Dance," in which the "OK" hand sign is placed upside down over one eye.
As of August, the number of views of the hashtag "#dumbdumbchallenge" has exceeded 122.7 million.

Nominations of the First Lineup of Performers at the 36th Golden Disc Awards
Some of the artists included in the first lineup of performing artists are also nominated in several categories at the 36th Golden Disc Awards.
aespa is nominated for the "Rookie Artist of the Year" as well as for the main awards like "Digital Song Division" and "Album Division" at the 36th Golden Disc Awards.
ENHYPEN, who earned the "Rookie Artist of the Year" at the 35th Golden Disc Awards, is one of the nominees for the "Album Division" with their million-selling album "DIMENSION: DILEMMA."
The Boyz is also a candidate for the "Album Division Bonsang" with their best-selling album on the Hanteo Chart to date, "THRILL-ING," which sold more than half a million copies in the first week.
BTS is nominated in the "Digital Song Division" and "Album Division" as well, with "Butter" and "BE" respectively.
Finally, Brave Girls' new song "Chi Mat Ba Ram" and Jeon Somi's "DUMB DUMB" are both nominated for the "Digital Song Division."
