IU won the digital daesang SOTY for her hit track "Celebrity" at the 36th Golden Disc Awards. IU said in her speech as she receives her trophy, "I said thank you for giving me a big award about a year ago, but I'm glad that I received a big award this year, and it seems like the end of the year is going well."
