Many are hoping the girl group does, in fact, debut with the name LESSARAFIM. People say the name sounds like poetry and is an artistic choice. Others noted that the name is reminiscent of IZ*ONE elegant concept. LESSARFIM is inspired by Les Seraphim, a reference to the celestial beings in the court of Yahweh in the vision of Isaiah.
However, the news of a new girl group under Source Music has saddened others. This is due to GFRIEND's disbandment back in 2021. Some loyal BUDDYs stated that despite how much they want to support the new girl group, it is hard to do so following the treatment GFRIEND received fully.
