On Jan. 18, GOT7 member BamBam held an online showcase called "BamBam 2nd Mini Album [B] ONLINE SHOWCASE" as a part of his comeback promotion. The event featured some performances and the unboxing of "B."

BamBam made the online showcase more interesting when he spoiled GOT7's comeback, which the viewers didn't see coming. Several times, he couldn't help but share a few details about the group's highly-anticipated return.

GOT7 left JYP Entertainment in January 2021 and it has already been a year since then. Because all seven members departed from the company, many assumed that the group had disbanded. But, the members always assured the fans that it is not the case.

To prove that they're still a group, GOT7 released the single "Encore" in celebration of the seventh anniversary of their debut. Jay B, the group's leader, said that this song is a fulfillment of their promise to the fans that they will stay together and keep on making music.

During the online showcase, BamBam kept on teasing GOT7's comeback. He said that the members talk about group activities a lot and that they have been in close contact with each other.

He continued that the members have written songs with GOT7 in mind and they shared with each other.

The event host then commented, "So, it's true that you make music for GOT7 and talk about group activities," to which BamBam replied, "Yes, it's true."

The host continued, "But, you don't know when or how the song will be released." However, the rapper responded that he does know when GOT7's comeback will take place. He's just can't reveal it yet.

As he revealed too much information about the group's plan, GOT7 member BamBam realized that he messed up again and his reaction is precious. Ever since BamBam spoiled the septet's return, many fans can't wait for their new release as a group.

GOT7 Celebrates 8th Anniversary as a Group with Fans through an Instagram Live

In related news, GOT7 recently celebrated their eight years as a group since their debut on Jan. 16, 2014 with "Girls Girls Girls." The members got together to hold an Instagram live to commemorate the special day with the fans.

Even though the members are currently separated, they made the live broadcast work. Jay B and Jinyoung were together, Mark joined the live from Los Angeles, and BamBam, Yugyeom and Youngjae joined in together.

Although Jackson has a schedule that time, still made time to join the Instagram live. BamBam showed the phone Jackson called on.

Because of the effort that the GOT7 members made to hold the live in celebration of their eighth anniversary, fans couldn't help but be emotional. Many fans took to Twitter to express their joy of seeing the seven members together.

GOT7 event hinted at their comeback as a full group. Jay B asked Youngjae when their new song is coming out, but the latter was hesitant to answer. Check out the clip below.
