BTS Suga's 'Daechwita' MV TouTube views Hits 333 Million

"Daechwita," released by BTS Suga under his moniker Agust D, surpassed 333 million views on YouTube on January 20 (KST). The song is from his mixtape "D-2," which was released on May 22, 2021,

"Daechwita" has the most records among music videos released by Suga under the name of Agust D, as well as the song with the most views among BTS' solo music videos.

Agust D previously recorded 306 million views and joined the ranks of K-pop solo artists who recorded 306 million views on YouTube, along with EXO Chanyeol, Psy, and J-Hope.

The "Daechwita" MV achievied 11 million likes on June 25 and is writing a new world record as a solo artist. As of January 20, it has recorded 12.91 million likes.

"Daechwita" created a different atmosphere by sampling Daechwita, a piece of traditional marching music.

In the music video, Suga's storytelling as the king attracts the viewers' attention and receives a positive response from music fans.

BTS Suga Hits 473 Million Streams on Spotify with Agust D's 'D-2'

On January 20, Suga's sophomore mixtape "D-2," released in May 2021, exceeded 473 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.

Among the albums released by Korean solo artists, Suga has maintained the record for having the most records on Spotify.

Suga's presence as a solo artist, including the first mixtape "Agust D" released in 2016 and the second mixtape "D-2" released in 2020, surpassed 650 million streams on Spotify on January 8.

BTS Suga achieved a dazzling record on the global short video platform TikTok. His unique hashtag "#SUGA" has surpassed 45 billion views on TikTok as of January 20.

Suga, who is setting shining records as a solo artist, raised expectations by showing a unique presence and hot popularity on global social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

'My Universe' by BTS and Coldplay Charts on Billboard for 16 Weeks

According to the latest chart released by Billboard, on January 19, BTS' and Coldplay's "My Universe," released on September 24, 2021, ranked on the Billboard main single chart. It ranked 94th on the "Hot 100" and charted for 16 consecutive weeks.

Moreover, "My Universe" also ranked 13th on "Adult Pop Airplay," 10th on "Canadian Hot AC," 36th on "Canada CHR/TOP," 38th on "Canadian Digital Song Sales," and 38th on "Canadian Hot 100," respectively.

Meanwhile, BTS' 4th regular album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," released in February 2020, also continued to be a long-term box office hit. This album recorded No. 166 on the Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200," succeeded in charting for 93 weeks, and it climbed to No. 32 on "Top Album Sales" and No. 2 on "World Album."
