HYBE's quest to become the top K-pop agency will resume in 2022! On January 25, a solid artist lineup of comebacks, debuts and other activities under the company has been revealed.

This year is a very important starting point for HYBE. As BTS, a pillar and landlord who has been in charge of more than 50% of their profits, is scheduled to join the military. It could give up the title of "No. 1 in the industry" if the agency fails to fill the vacancy of BTS this year.
Fortunately, the lineup is solid.
fromis_9 Releases 4th Mini-Album 'Midnight Guest'
fromis_9, the only girl group under HYBE as of now started the race with the release of their fourth mini-album, "Midnight Guest," on Jan. 17.
As soon as it was released, the group broke their own record with 130,000 pre-sales, surpassing their previous initial record with nearly 50,000 copies sold in just one day of its release.
In the music chart, all five songs including the title song "DM" also ranked, showcasing their splendid return to the K-pop scene.
BTS to Resume Activities With Seoul Offline Concert in March, Grammy Nomination

Following BTS' vacation, the global group will resume their activities with an offline concert at Jamsil Main Stadium in Seoul in March. It is the first time that the "Dynamite" singers will have a concert in Korea in two years and five months since "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final" was held in October 2019.
On April 3, BTS will head to Las Vegas to attend the Grammy Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. BTS was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for the second consecutive year at the awards ceremony. If BTS succeeds in winning the award, it will set another "first time in Korea."
SEVENTEEN Hints at Release of New Album in 2022
SEVENTEEN, now called "Pledis's Pride," will also make a comeback while expanding in Japan.
"The million-seller group is also working on the new album as well," said HYBE through various media outlets.
SEVENTEEN also said, "SEVENTEEN's style, sound and image will continue to change in the future. We will work harder with greater responsibility and development of each album. We hope 2022 will be a shining year together by doing what we all want to do. We hope CARAT and SEVENTEEN will become one through music."
Meanwhile, aside from BTS and SEVENTEEN TXT, ENHYPEN will also accelerate their move as "fourth-generation representative" with upcoming new releases.

A number of girl groups will also be launched under HYBE.
The most anticipated group was first introduced by Min Heejin, HYBE's CBO and head of the new label ADOR. She is the person behind the MVs of SM Entertainment artists, such as f(x) and EXO. Thus, expectations are high for the forthcoming girl group.
HYBE's sub-label Source Music will also launch a new girl group, speculated as Lesserafim, following GFRIEND.
Sakura and Kim Chaewon, former IZ*ONE are expected to join the group, signaling the birth of a new rookie monster.
Lastly, HYBE will also produce a new girl group through Mnet's "I-Land 2." Although the ratings of "I-Land" were low, the team to be created through "I-Land 2" is also expected to gain global popularity as it proved its strong power by discovering a group, such as "Rising Rookie" ENHYPEN.
