Six days before his radio show appearance, BamBam's "B" album was officially released. "B" is his second mini-album and it marked his first solo comeback since June 2021.

The mini-album features six new songs including the double title tracks "Slow Mo" and "Who Are You." "Who Are You" also serves as a pre-release single as it was dropped on Dec. 28, 2021. The song garnered attention as it features Seulgi, with whom BamBam has been wishing to collaborate.
During the recent broadcast of "Kim Shinyoung's Music Party," Kim Shin Young mentioned BamBam's "B" album, saying that he just got back to the music scene with it. Kim then asked the GOT7 rapper to share more about it.

GOT7 BamBam went on to reveal that his new song "Slow Mo" was initially planned to be a GOT7 song, however, it didn't fall through.
He said, "We wanted 'Slow Mo' to be a GOT7 song but it got rejected. It's finally out as my solo song, and it's really exciting.
Back in 2018, GOT7 Jay B appeared on "Hyena on the Keyboard" and revealed how he kept getting rejections from J.Y. Park every time he introduces the songs he made. Not only J.Y. Park but JYP Entertainment in general consistently rejected songs written/composed/produced by GOT7. The reason is that the tracks were "not" GOT7's color.
It is possible that BamBam's "Slow Mo" was one of these songs rejected by J.Y. Park or JYP Entertainment.
Although it was rejected as a GOT7 song, "Slow Mo" is now receiving love from the fans as a solo song by the group's rapper.
