VIXX has been inactive as a group for almost three years now since their last music release in 2019. A few of the members departed from the agency and one even officially left the band. So, let's find out where the VIXX members now are.
About K-pop Boy Group VIXX
VIXX is the very first idol group to debut under Jellyfish Entertainment. They were formed through the survival show "MyDOL" aired on Mnet back in 2012. Six trainees made the debut lineup, namely Leo, Ravi, N, Hyuk, Ken and Hongbin.
VIXX is an acronym for "voice, visual, value in excelsis. The sextet made its debut in May 2012 with their first single "Super Hero." They have since been mainly known as a concept or performance group whose song, choreography and overall stage performances are combined to tell a story.

Throughout their career, VIXX also had schedules overseas, with their first one being a performance at the Otakon convention in Baltimore, Maryland in July 2012. They also held concerts in America, Europe, Japan, Italy and other international countries.
VIXX's first music show win since its debut was on Dec. 6, 2013. Their title track "Voodoo Doll" took first place on "Music Bank" beating Hyorin's "One Way Love."
The sextet then made their official debut in Japan in July 2014 with their first compilation album "Darkest Angels." It ranked No. 10 for five weeks in a row on the Oricon chart.

In August 2015, VIXX debuted its first sub-unit, which is composed of Leo and Ravi (VIXX LR). The duo dropped their first mini-album "Beautiful Liar," which debuted on the Billboard Social 50 at No. 16 and peaked at No. 14.
Fast forward, VIXX made their last comeback on Feb. 1, 2019 before going on a hiatus. They released the single "Walking" as a gift to the fans to cheer them up before the military enlistment of two members.
"Walking" also serves as the group's last song with all six members as Hongbin left the band afterwards.
Where are the VIXX Members Now?
Former VIXX Hongbin
In May 2019, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that Hongbin was one of the VIXX members to renew his contract with the agency. However, the male idol ended up leaving the group and the label in August of the following year.
His departure is assumed to be because of the controversy he had in February 2020. Late at night on Feb. 29, he held a live broadcast on his Twitch channel where he made several comments about other K-pop groups' songs like EXO's "Wolf," SHINee's "Everybody," Red Velvet's "Red Flavor" and INFINITE's "Be Mine."
Fans of the groups mentioned, as well as netizens, were furious about former VIXX Hongbin's comments. As a result, the male idol and Jellyfish later released an apology.
On Aug. 18, 2020, Hongbin enlisted for his mandatory military service. He is expected to be discharged in May 2022.
VIXX Ravi

Ravi is the first VIXX member to not renew his contract with Jellyfish Entertainment. He, instead, established two labels: GROOVL1N (2019) and THE L1VE (2021). Despite leaving the company, he will remain a part of the boy group.
VIXX Ravi's first solo release after departure from Jellyfish is his third mini-album "Limitless." The first part of the album came out on Nov. 8, 2019 and the second part arrived on Nov. 23.
On Feb. 8, 2022, Ravi is set to drop his second studio album "Love&Fight."
VIXX N
After the group's comeback in February 2019, VIXX member N enlisted in the military the following month. He completed his mandatory military service in October 2020.
After being discharged, N decided not to renew his contract with Jellyfish Entertainment but he will continue to be a part of the group. He left the company in November 2020 and also signed with a new label, 51k, in the same month. 51k is an actor agency housing 2PM Taecyeon and So Ji Sub.
VIXX N's first drama under 51k is tvN's "Mine," where he played one of the supporting roles. Currently, he is starring in the tvN drama "Bad and Crazy" as one of the main characters.
VIXX Leo
Leo is one of the only three VIXX members that remain under Jellyfish Entertainment at present. After renewing his contract in May 2019, he enlisted in the military in December of the same year. He finished his duties in September 2021.
VIXX Leo made his first solo comeback since his military discharge in November with his fifth digital single "I'm Still Here."
VIXX Ken
Ken is another member of VIXX to stay with Jellyfish Entertainment until at present. He made his solo debut with his first mini-album "Greeting" in May 2020, two months before his military enlistment.
VIXX Ken was then discharged on Jan. 5, 2022. Two days after, it was announced that Ken will join the "Excalibur" musical cast. He will play the role of King Arthur, together with Kim Junsoo. The musical will take place at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts from Jan. 29 to March 13.
VIXX Hyuk
Finally, Hyuk is the third and last VIXX member who is still under the management of Jellyfish Entertainment. He is not only active as a singer but as an actor as well.
In 2021, Hyuk starred in the film "A Different Girl" as the main character, Wan Jun. Currently, he is playing the main role of Kim Sehyun in the second season of the web series "Color Rush."
