BTOB Comeback 2022: Sextet Reportedly Returning with All 6 Members for the First Time in Nearly 4 Years
On Jan. 27, the Korean media outlet SPOTV News released an exclusive report where they stated that BTOB will return to the K-pop scene with all six members - Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Sungjae, Hyunsik, Peniel and Changsub.
The news outlet specified that BTOB's comeback as a full group is scheduled for February. They added that the sextet will release a new album.

Shortly after the news, CUBE Entertainment issued an official statement to confirm that the boy group will indeed make their first comeback as a whole next month.
BTOB's last music release was back in June 2018, which means their upcoming album will be their first work in nearly four years (three years and eight months to be exact).
Additionally, BTOB's comeback in February would be the first one since the military discharge of all the members. From Eunkwang in April 2020 to Hyunsik and Sungjae in November 2021, all six members have completed their mandatory military service.

While waiting for Hyunsik and Sungjae to be discharged from the military, the remaining BTOB members (Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub and Peniel) were active as the group's second sub-unit named BTOB 4U. The unit debuted in November 2020 and made its first comeback in August 2021.
BTOB 4U also participated in Mnet's reality show "Kingdom: Legendary War," which aired from April to June 2021. The quartet finished in fourth place with over 20,000 total points.
When it comes to solo activities, BTOB member Minhyuk dropped a new solo single titled "Good Night" in November 2021, while Eunkwang appeared on several TV shows and starred in the musical "Xcalibur" as King Arthur.

Following Hyunsik and Sungjae's military discharge in November of last year, BTOB held their first fan meeting, called "Welcome to BTOB's Home," for two days (Dec. 31, 2021 and Jan. 1, 2022). This is their first activity as a full group.
Because it has been nearly four years since BTOB's comeback, attention is focused on what kind of music the sextet will release and what sides of them they will show this time.
BTOB Drops '2nd Confession' Remake with Lyrics Revised for 2022
In other news, BTOB shared a remake of "2nd Confession," one of the group's earlier winter tunes. It was initially released back in April 2013 as a thank-you gift to the fans and in celebration of their first anniversary since their debut.
The "2nd Confession" remake contains lyrics rewritten as their schedule with Melody (their fandom) this 2022. It wraps up the sextet's 2022 fan meeting "Welcome to BTOB's Home."
In BTOB's "2nd Confession" remake, the lyrics highlighted important dates this year such as graduation, beginning of school, BTOB's tenth anniversary and national holidays like Hangul and Seollal Day.
The song was released together with a video that shows the notable events of the year.
