JYJ Junsu Reveals Poor Living Conditions He Had During When He Was Younger
On the January 26 episode of Channel A's variety show "Lessons for the Groom," JYJ Junsu talked about his rough childhood days, revealing the poor conditions he used to have back then.
In particular, during the episode, Junsu can be seen meeting with his older fraternal twin brother Kim Junho (known by his stage name Juno or Zuno), as they head to their family home together to spend time with their parents.
While watching his video with the other cast members of the show, Junsu decided to clarify some public misconceptions about himself.
At this time, the JYJ member mentioned how many people always assumed he had always lived a wealthy life as a child growing up. But he clarifies that this is not the case, and reveals that he had "never had a proper 'home' back then."
He reveals that during his childhood, his family used to live in a semi-basement home.

"We used to live in a semi-basement home where it didn't have a bathroom. We had to get our [bathroom] businesses done in the kitchen when we needed to do it badly," Junsu said.
He continued to explain, "There were also times when my brother and I used to live in our grandmother's house for around a year or two, and we also lived with our aunt for a bit. We couldn't settle down anywhere."
Junsu then shares he decided to give his family a beautiful home as a gift to his parents a few years ago because of a dream that he had in the past.
He said that when he was younger, Junsu and his brother used to talk about becoming successful people and living in a nice house all the time.
