EXO, EXID, MORE: These 7 K-Pop Group Will Celebrate Their 10th Debut Anniversary in 2022

Here are seven popular K-pop groups that will finally celebrate their tenth debut anniversary!

1. NU'EST

Before gaining fame after members JR, Baekho, Ren and Minhyun (with the former debuting in Wanna One) competed on "Produce 101 Season 2," NU'EST was first introduced to the public in 2012. However, despite attaining moderate success with their debut "FACE," the group experienced a period in which they were not achieving success; they were even on the brink of disbandment.

However, the group is now thriving and will be celebrating their tenth debut anniversary on March 15, 2022.

2. BTOB

BTOB debuted on March 21, 2012, and will be celebrating their tenth debut anniversary this year! BTOB is a group known for their touching lyrics and is famous for their live vocals, with people joking that they sounded like they "ate their CDs for breakfast." Additionally, they are a group known for being relatable and funny, always showing a bright image for their fans.

3. EXO

EXO-Ls, can you believe it? EXO is officially turning ten years old on April 8, 2022! The young men who debuted with "MAMA" are now handsome men with years of experience under their belt. Since their debut, EXO has become one of the most prominent boy groups in K-pop and has smashed several records.

Though EXO has gone through their fair share of scandals, EXO is still one of the industry's most loved and supported groups.

4. VIXX

VIXX and BTOB are known to have been close since they debuted around the same time, so it is no surprise VIXX is a group celebrating their tenth anniversary this year! Though some members have left their original company Jellyfish Entertainment (namely Ravi and N), they still promise to work together. Unfortunately, Hongbin left the group in 2020 for personal reasons.

VIXX will celebrate their tenth debut anniversary on May 24, 2022.

5. EXID

EXID is a girl group that initially struggled during their debut in 2012. However, they struck gold in 2014 after a fancam of Hani performing "Up & Down" went viral. Since then, EXID has become a household name in K-pop! In 2019, it was announced that all the members of EXID left their company, Banana Culture, but promised to remain as a group.

EXID will celebrate their tenth debut anniversary on February 16, 2022.

6. AOA

AOA may have debuted on August 9, 2012, but they became mainstream artists in 2014 with the release of "Miniskirt." They then released several hit tracks, such as "Heart Attack" and "Like a Cat." In 2017, ChoA departed from the group, which led to some fans abandoning the group. However, they achieved fame again after competing on Mnet's "Queendom" in 2019.

Sadly, their time as an active group would be cut short after Mina, who left in 2020, accused Jimin of bullying. She also accused the other members of being bystanders. As a result, Jimin left the group, and AOA currently consists of Hyejeong, Seolhyun and Chanmi. It is unknown how the three members will celebrate their anniversary this year.

7. Crayon Pop

The final group on this list is Crayon Pop! Did you know that they have not officially disbanded despite not having any activities since 2017? Though they are considered an underrated group, their song "Bar Bar Bar" was a smash hit during its release in 2013. Though members Geummi, Ellin, Choa and Way signed a contract with Chrome Entertainment to continue their promotions as Crayon Pop in 2017, they have yet to release a new song.

Crayon Pop will celebrate their tenth anniversary on July 19, 2022.
