The group will debut with the title track "OO" along with the b-sidetrack "TANK." According to JYP Entertainment, the title song "OO" represents a pair of eyes wide open and expresses a feeling of shock, as if someone is going "Oh!" The company states the song will surprise viewers with what NMIXX can bring to the table.
NMIXX's unique debut song has become a hot topic among K-pop fans. At first, some people mistakenly thought the title was an inappropriate sign due to the font in the teaser.
However, others felt the song sounded cute because the two O's next to each other look like raccoons.

People predict the song will be a smash hit since it follows JYP Entertainment's formula. Girl groups from the company saw massive success with song titles with repeating words or letters.
Many brought up TWICE's "TT," which became their most popular and successful song.
ITZY's "DALLA DALLA" was also mentioned, as it is also a debut song with a repeating word.

Other people claimed that the song was highly reminiscent of the theme song of "Girls Planet 999," which is titled "O.O.O (Over & Over & Over)." As a song with a similar title has already come out in the previous year, many anticipate how different the two songs will be and which one will sound better.
NMIXX's Teasers for Debut SIngle Draw Comparisons to BTS
Other than the title, the teaser itself was also compared to another artist. People pointed out that the design of the "AD MARE" tracklist photo bore an uncanny resemblance to BTS's "WINGS" album and tracklist. This is due to the black background and the use of two circles.
In the past, NMIXX's design team has gone under fire for plagiarizing other artists. For example, they were called out for copying ENHYPEN's "BORDER : CARNIVAL 'Intro : The Invitation" for NMIXX's "New Frontier: Declaration." NMIXX's team was also accused of stealing ideas from LOONA's "Why Not?" music video for NMIXX's debut teaser.
