Rapper Changmo Under Fire for Insulting Remarks on Recent Instagram Updates

On the morning of Feb. 7, Changmo caught people's attention after posting a now-deleted photo to his Instagram story. The picture was not the main subject but the caption, which says, "Traits of loser f*ckers. Less than 180cm tall, can't earn money."

The Korean rapper followed up with another cryptic post that read, "Males and females, please don't fight!!! Spread the love!!" and "Let's leave in peace! Don't fight."

He also shared a picture of Gyeongbokgung Palace's Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, and wrote "I hate Joseon, but this is cool."

Changmo received various reactions from people who encountered his Instagram posts, which were immediately shared on an online community. While some question whether he was joking, the others were furious as he said that people under 180cm tall won't be able to make money.

The "Maestro" rapper made people more curious about his Instagram updates after deleting them within an hour.

Later that morning, Changmo made another Instagram story featuring a photo, but this time it shows his red Ferrari car and a note that says he would put it on sale.

He said, "Everyone, don't live life comparing yourself with other people. I'm going to sell this now."

In South Korea, when a man sells his car for an unknown reason, he would probably start his mandatory military service. Since he would be in the army for almost two years and only had a few free days, having a car won't be necessary.

Taking this into account, some individuals wonder if Changmo's military enlistment is approaching. The rapper was born in 1994, meaning he has a year or two left to decide whether he would delay his enlistment until he turns 30.

Last month, the Korean rapper revealed through his Instagram account that he will enlist in the army early this year. He added that if he goes, he wants to overcome his "tedious alcohol addiction."

Last year, rapper Changmo released several songs either as the lead singer, a featuring artist, or a collab act.

In November 2021, Changmo dropped his second studio album titled "Underground Rockstar." This is his first full-length album in two years since "Boyhood" came out in November 2019. The album consists of a total of 11 songs including the tracks "Moraesigye" (Hourglass), "Taiji" and "Hyperstar."

Changmo was then featured in Epik High's "In Self-Defense" with Woo and Nucksal. This song comes from the band's tenth studio album "Epik High Is Here."

He was also a featuring artist in Park Bom's "Do Re Mi Fa Sol," D.Ark's "Genius" and Heize's "Flu."
