VIVIZ Shares What Makes Their Group Different From GFRIEND
On February 9 KST, former GFRIEND members Umji, SinB, and Eunha held their online showcase to commemorate their re-debut as the three-member girl group, VIVIZ.
On this day, VIVIZ made their debut with their first mini-album "Beam of Prism."
During the online showcase, VIVIZ talked about their eighth year being in the industry together, and revealed what they had discussed as their goals as VIVIZ.
"To set a good precedent, we talked a lot about working hard and doing better," VIVIZ said.
Regarding if Umji, SinB, or Eunha had any concerns regarding reforming as a three-member group, SinB responded by saying, "Because we had never done it [performances] with a small number of people, we thought a lot about what concept and direction we should go with. But we were able to overcome those worries."
She added, "We prepared to have fun rather than worrying."
Eunha also chimed in, saying, "After taking a year off from singing, we wanted to stage on stage and sing."

As VIVIZ features the three former GFRIEND members, they also talked about how they would show a different side to them in terms of music.
Regarding their identity as VIVIZ, who is different from GFRIEND, Eunha explained that GFRIEND used to release music that touched the heart and emotions of fans. But VIVIZ will likely produce and release more bouncy music that excites the body to dance.
Umji also added, "We didn't know for sure what [musical] color would come out with just the three of us. But when we put the music together, we found that we have this kind of color. It seemed like we could try something new and different from when we were in GFRIEND."
She said that they will be able to show fans a new size to them as VIVIZ.
Regarding VIVIZ's strength, SinB believes that they are rookies with eight years of experience, and that they are a mix of novelty and old-fashioned. Because of that, many will wonder what they're going to do next. VIVIZ is also expected to be more fresh and fun.
