Stray Kids' Performances To Be Limited

JYP Entertainment released a statement on Thursday, Feb. 10 announcing that Stray Kids Felix was diagnosed with intervertebral disk herniation after suffering from back pain.

Even though Felix can still go on with his daily activities as normal, he couldn't exert much effort during his stage performances because he couldn't put pressure on his waist.

Stray Kids is scheduled to perform during the Stray Kids 2nd #LoveSTAY "SKZ's CHOCOLATE FACTORY" on Feb. 12 and 13. Even though the event will still push through, JYP Entertainment asked fans for their understanding of the performances of their idols will be limited.

Elsewhere, Stray Kids Hyunjin also made headlines after he said that the group's recent live performance rekindled his love for appearing on stage. After all, Stray Kids have not been able to perform for their fans for two years because of COVID-19.

In September 2021, Stray Kids talked about the success of their second full-length album, "NOEASY" and said that their goal is for Stray Kids to become a genre in itself.

Stray Kids explained that the title of their album refers to the loud impact that they want to leave in the world.

According to Bang Chan, leaving a big impact on the people around them is what they want to achieve. They also want to entertain people and give them strength which isn't an easy feat.

Hyunjin also explained why it's important for Stray Kids to keep their music fresh for their listeners.

He said that there are already a lot of K-pop artists out there. So, it's important to always stand out. There's also a need to give fans new colors, sounds, and choreography to keep them hooked.

Whenever the group hits a wall, Hyunjin said that he personally stops listening to music. And he doesn't also try to write new songs. Instead, he allows himself to recover and recharge until his creative juices are ready to come out again.
