ITZY with Republic Records, Making Way for Global Success
On February 11, JYP Entertainment announced that it would strengthen strategic collaboration with the American music label Republic Records and join forces to achieve the success of ITZY in the United States after TWICE.
Republic Records is a music label under Universal Music, the number one label in the United States selected by Billboard. The label's active artists are superstars Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
Republic Records and JYP Entertainment announced collaboration when TWICE entered the United States in February 2020.
ITZY is a girl group targeting the global market with unrivaled performances. After entering the US Billboard main chart "Billboard 200" for the first time with the 4th mini album "GUESS WHO" released in April 2021, the first regular album "CRAZY IN LOVE" in September of the same year. It also recorded its best performance at #11 on the "Billboard 200."
In addition, they succeeded in charting in 12 categories, including Billboard's main chart, and in particular, on Spotify, the group was the first among the 4th generation K-pop groups to exceed 6 million monthly listeners.

ITZY Collaborates With Nintendo for Pokémon's New CF
Pokémon Co., Ltd. released the Nintendo Switch software "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" on January 28. Their ad "WANNA BE A LEGEND," which features ITZY, was released on February 9. Also, on the official Pokémon's official TikTok account, videos of each member of ITZY who challenge the original effect of taking a commemorative photo with Pokémon will be released sequentially.
The new advertisement "WANNABE A LEGEND" starts with a scene where the members of ITZY dance to the mega-hit WANNABE, which has surpassed 400 million views. Also, in this advertisement, you can see ITZY playing "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" in a pleasant atmosphere together.
In addition, the campaign "#PokemonLegendsChallenge" was held to commemorate the release of "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" on the short-form video platform TikTok. The challenge comes with the original effect that allows you to take a commemorative photo with a Pokémon in the background of the magnificent nature of the Hisui region, which was used in the game. On the official Pokémon's TikTok account, videos of each member of ITZY challenging the effects will be released sequentially.
