During the early years after YG Entertainment was established, Yang Hyun Suk debuted a few artists and one of them is the four-member boy group 1TYM (pronounced as "One Time"). However, the quartet unexpectedly stopped group activities in 2006. Now that 16 years have passed, let's find out what happened to the 1TYM members.
About YG Entertainment's Hip-Hop Group 1TYM
After launching two artists, YG Entertainment debuted a four-member boy group called 1TYM in 1998 with their first studio album "One Time for Your Mind." This album became one of the best-selling works of the year after selling 232,418 copies in South Korea.

1TYM went on to release more full-length albums in the following years. Their latest release is their fifth studio album "One Way," which came out in November 2005 and became the group's last work as they went on an indefinite hiatus in 2006.
What Happened to 1TYM?
In 2006, YG Entertainment's hip-hop group took a break from the music industry due to Jinhwan's military service. Even though 1TYM never officially disbanded, they have been inactive since then. Their last appearance as a group was in 2008 when they guested on BIGBANG's Japan Concert "Stand Up."
After performing at BIGBANG's concert, 1TYM did not release new albums anymore.
