Is Heechul Getting Married in 2023? Here's What the Super Junior Member Replied to Reports
On the afternoon of Feb. 11, KBS Joy's entertainment show "Twentieth Century Hit Song" was broadcast under the theme "Hit songs with hidden lyrics and exciting choreography." Super Junior Heechul and Kim Minah are the ones hosting the program.
During the recent broadcast, Shinhwa's 2002 song "Your Wedding" was one of the songs played. Heechul commented that this track is a "real hit."

Instead of commenting on the legendary song, Kim Minah suddenly brought up Heechul's marriage rumors. She said, "The lyrics about a wedding remind me of something. I heard you're getting married next year. There were lots of articles."
The male idol simply replied, "Am I?" and as he panicked, Kim Minah asked again, "Have you moved?" To this, Super Junior Heechul stated that he hasn't been to the house yet. He explained that he only bought the house because it was being sold at a discounted price.
Minah continued to tease the 38-year-old idol by asking, "Is it a newlywed house? How many kids are you planning to have?"

Looking embarrassed, Heechul responded that he hadn't thought of getting married yet. He continued, "Today's topic should be 'songs with crazy lyrics that shocked people' like the way I'm shocked right now," causing his co-host to burst into laughter.
In late January, Super Junior Heechul made headlines after saying that his marriage will take place in early 2023 after the COVID-19 pandemic ends. He revealed this to his fellow cast members on SBS' "My Little Old Boy" and even invited them to his wedding.
Apart from this announcement, Heechul also caught people's attention when he purchased a unit at the "Sangji Ritzville Kylom" in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The Sangji Ritzville Kylom is renowned as a villa-type luxury apartment where numerous celebrities, business owners and young affluent people reside.

Super Junior Heechul's Recent Activities
At present, Super Junior member Heechul appears as part of the panelist on Channel A's "Steel Troops (Season 2)." The program is a military survival show wherein reserve forces from the elite Special Forces create a team to combat for the honor of each group.
Together with Kim Heechul, Kim Dong Hyun, Jang Dong Min, Choo and Choi Youngjae (former presidential bodyguard) will appear as the panelist members. Kim Sung Joo and LOONA Chuu, on the other hand, will be the host of the show.

Regarding his musical activities, Heechul has not returned to the K-pop scene this year yet. His latest release is "The Renaissance," which is actually Super Junior's group album. "The Renaissance" arrived on March 16, 2021 after being delayed two times.
"The Renaissance" is Super Junior's first album in almost a year since their repackaged album "TIMELESS" came out in January 2020.
