Both "P.O.P (Piece of Peace) Pt. 1" and "Base Line" are included in J-Hope's "Hope World" mixtape that came out back in March 2018. "Hope World" is known to have topped iTunes Album charts in at least 78 countries at the time of its release.
Before these two songs entered the Spotify Brazil chart, the five other tracks from "Hope World," his collab song "Chicken Noodle Soup" with Becky G plus his four solo songs included in BTS' albums have all appeared on the tally before.
With this, BTS J-Hope has become the first Asian artist in history to land all of his solo songs (12 in total) on the Brazil Spotify Top 200 daily chart.

In addition to that, J-Hope himself made it to the Spotify Top Daily Artist in Brazil on Feb. 4, securing the No. 172 spot. He is the very first K-pop solo artist in history to appear on the list. He is also now the third K-pop act to do so after BTS and BLACKPINK.
Brazil is the largest music market in South America and it is quite rare for foreign singers to appear on local music streaming charts. In fact, in the first week of June 2021, only three artists appeared on the Brazil Spotify chart: BTS, Olivia Rodrigo and Lil Nas X.
