BTS Jungkook's 'Stay Alive' (Prod. By SUGA) Becomes Fastest Solo Song in History to Score THIS on iTunes

On Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. KST, Jungkook officially released the track "Stay Alive" (produced by Suga). The song serves as the official soundtrack of BTS' original webtoon and web novel "7 Fates: CHAKHO."

A few hours after its release, the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST immediately skyrocketed to the top of iTunes Song charts in many countries across the globe, including the eight largest music markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Australia.

Recently, Jungkook and Suga's "Stay Alive" has reached a new impressive achievement that no other solo songs have done before.

As of Feb. 13, "Stay Alive" succeeded in ranking first on iTunes charts in a total of 100 countries. It becomes the 17th song in the world to reach 100 No. 1s, with the previous 15 songs coming from BTS as well (group and solo releases) and one track belongs to English singer-songwriter Adele.

BTS Jungkook now joins Adele and his bandmates Jin, V, J-Hope, Jin and Agust D (SUGA) as the only solo artists in history to top the iTunes Song chart in 100 countries.

In addition to this, the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST has now become the fastest song by a soloist to reach 100 No. 1s on iTunes, doing so in only two days after its release.

Jungkook and Suga's "Stay Alive" is also now the third OST in history to reach this remarkable feat, following BTS V's "Sweet Night" and BTS Jin's "Yours."

Further, Jungkook has entered the top 30 of Global Digital Artist Ranking as he rose 25 places and is now at his new peak at No. 26.

BTS Jungkook, Suga's 'Stay Alive' Breaks Record for Biggest Debut by K-pop Soloist on Spotify

Apart from making history on the iTunes chart, the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST is also doing impressively well on Spotify, recording the new biggest debut by a K-pop solo artist.

On its first day, BTS Jungkook's "Stay Alive" (produced by Suga) racked up a whopping 4,273,772 streams, setting the highest number of first-day streams for any song by a Korean soloist on Spotify.

"Stay Alive" has surpassed BLACKPINK Rosé's "On The Ground," which gained 3,262,615 streams in the first 24 hours.

Besides breaking the record for the highest Spotify debut of any song by a K-pop soloist when it comes to first-day streams, Jungkook and Suga's "Stay Alive" has also reached the highest debut for a Korean solo song and highest debut for a Korean OST on Spotify Global Chart. The track entered the top 50 at No. 3 with over 4.27 streams.

As of Feb. 13, the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST sits at No. 8 with 3,238,182 streams.
