BLACKPINK Lisa's 'LALISA' Becomes First Album by Female K-pop Soloist to Score THIS Total Sales Figure on Hanteo
After BLACKPINK Lisa's first album "LALISA" was released on Sept. 10, 2021, it has broken numerous records in terms of Billboard appearances and album sales on the Gaon and Hanteo charts.
And recently, the single album has set another record after it reached an impressive total number of sales. On Feb. 14, "LALISA" surpassed 800,000 copies sold on Hanteo.

No other female solo albums have reached the mark in the previous years, meaning Lisa's "LALISA" is the first album by a female K-pop soloist in Hanteo history to reach 800,000 total sales.
Other than that, "LALISA" has broken the record for the fastest album by a female artist to reach the mark. The two-track single album attained the feat in only five months, beating the record of 16 months set by BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM."
With over 800,000 copies sold to date, BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" has now extended its record as the best-selling album by a female K-pop solo artist on Hanteo. It also remains the album by a female act with the second-highest sales of all time on the platform, bested only by "THE ALBUM."

Further, Lisa has now joined her group BLACKPINK as the only female acts in history to reach 800,000 total sales on the Hanteo Chart.
Lisa's "LALISA" earned the title of the best-selling album by a female K-pop soloist in Hanteo history just six days after its release. From Day 1 to Day 6, the album sold more than 500,000 copies.
The single album even became the fastest-selling album by a female soloist in Hanteo history, with over 736,000 copies sold in its first week.

BLACKPINK's 'Ice Cream' MV Attains Incredible Feats on YouTube
In other news, Lisa's group BLACKPINK is also continuously making history on YouTube.
At approximately 4:06 a.m. KST on Feb. 13, BLACKPINK's "Ice Cream" MV crossed 700 million views on YouTube, becoming the group's eighth music video to hit the mark after "BOOMBAYAH," "Whistle," "Playing With Fire," "As If It's Your Last," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Kill This Love" and "How You Like That."
Including the "How You Like That" dance practice video, "Ice Cream" is BLACKPINK's ninth overall group video to exceed 700 million YouTube views.

The quartet now becomes the only female K-pop artist to have nine MVs that reached the 700-million mark. They also now tie with BTS as the only K-pop act with at least nine MVs.
BLACKPINK's "Ice Cream" MV was dropped on Aug. 28, 2020 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning the video took a year, five months and 15 days to hit the mark.
"Ice Cream" is now the first all-female collaboration music video released this decade to rack up 700 million views on YouTube. The song was in collaboration with American singer Selena Gomez.
