Virtual Influencer Rozy to Debut as Idol in March, Earns Praises for Her Vocals

On February 15, Rozy, who initially rose into popularity as a virtual influencer confirmed her debut in the music industry. In particular, the soon-to-debut idol and actress first establish her name in 2020 through a TV advertisement.

She is created by combining the appearance preferred by the MZ generation (millennial generation and Generation Z) and currently has more than 110,000 Instagram followers. Rozy is estimated to have earned 2 billion won last year alone.

With her beauty that suits the taste of Koreans, Rozy started to received love calls from numerous advertising industries and her fame skyrocketed by promoting her face to the public through commercials.

On Instagram then, her debut teaser poster was released, creating a dreamy and mysterious atmosphere like top K-pop idols such as BLACKPINK and aespa. The track's title is "WHO AM I" and the eternal 22-year-old singer also wrote the caption, "Very first single album," drawing attention to her full-fledged career as a K-pop idol.

On YouTube, her official MV teaser was also dropped, earning praises for her vocals. Even with a short melody, Rozy's voice and volume were revealed intact, and comments such as "The song is so good" and "Rozy's voice color is perfect" were posted in the video comment section.

Music Vine was in charge of planning and producing the album, and Jung Jaewon, who produced the album of K-pop artists such as BOL4, participated in the production.

Meanwhile, Rozy's debut song "WHO AM I" will be released on various online music sites at noon on February 22. In addition to her singer activities, Rozy is known to be pursuing her acting career as well by promoting dramas and movies with Netflix and other content producers.

AI Artist Han YuA Signs with YG, Will She Collaborate with BLACKPINK?

Aside from Rozy, another virtual human also set her career in the entertainment industry by signing a contract with YG KPLUS, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment.

According to the IT and entertainment industries on February 15, Han YuA will promote as an artist belonging to YG KPLUS and will appear on YouTube, in advertisements, and in broadcasts.

In particular, YG K+ is a management company specializing in models and actors affiliated with YG Entertainment, including famous models Bae Yoon Young. The idol group ATO6, consisting of models, is also an artist under the label.

Similar to Rozy, Han YuA is scheduled to release a song at the end of this month, and industry insiders raised the possibility of collaboration with YG Entertainment including BLACKPINK. HYBE, the agency of BTS also invested 4 billion won with Giant Step, the creator of Han YuA, attracting attention.
