B.I Signs With American Agency Wasserman for Promotions in the United States
On February 17 KST, it was announced by IOK Company that their artist, former iKON member B.I, had recently signed an exclusive contract with American agency Wasserman, a top agency home to numerous popular artists, such as Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Skrillex, and more.
According to IOK Company, B.I will also be working alongside manager Tom Windish, who had managed "Happier Than Ever" hitmaker, Billie Eilish, in the past.
The decision for B.I to sign with Wasserman was to continue having more active promotions outside of Asia and on a more global scale.
In fact, back in 2021, B.I had also signed a management partnership with American agency, Transparent Arts, to kickstart his global activities.
Wasserman also signaled their exclusive contract and support for B.I by adding the K-Pop idol's name to the list of artists on the agency's official website.
In January of this year, B.I also showed off his global presence by participating as the first Asian and K-Pop artist to perform on the GRAMMY's digital performance series, "Global Spin Live," which spotlights artist from around the world and in which the idol received good responses from music fans after performing his track "Nineteen" from his album "Cosmos."

The album's tracks, which was written and composed by B.I himself, had topped iTunes Albums chart in over 24 different countries and regions immediately after its release, and was named as one of the Best K-Pop Songs and Albums of 2021 by American media outlet, TIME Magazine.
