LOONA's agency, Blockberry Creative, has announced that a MAMADOL member decided to sign an exclusive contract with them.

This MAMADOL Member Recently Joined LOONA's Agency, Blockberry Creative
On Feb. 17, Blockberry Creative announced that a new artist has joined the label. This singer is pretty much familiar among fans as she is a member of the recent project girl group, MAMADOL. She is also well-known as a former member of the legendary girl group Wonder Girls.
It's none other than Min Sunye. Blockberry Creative said, "Sunye is a multi-talented artist who has exerted a positive influence by showing various charms and excellent music skills through personal activities as part of Wonder Girls and through tvN's "Mama the Idol."

The agency continued that they plan to give their full support to MAMADOL Sunye so that she can continue to be active in the future. "We ask for your warm support for Sunye's new start with us," they concluded.
Through Blockberry Creative, Sunye also gave a statement about her joining the label. The former Wonder Girls member stated, "I am happy to be with Blockberry Creative, which creates enjoyable music. As a person who believes in the positive power of music, I want to give you comfort and strength through good music. I hope you look forward to it and love it."
MAMADOL Sunye transferring to LOONA's agency, Blockberry Creative, comes after her contract with Polaris Entertainment expired. She now joins the 12-member girl group LOONA as the label's current artist.

Min Sunye, as a new artist under Blockberry Creative, plans to meet the fans through various activities including her music promotions.
Former Wonder Girls Sunye recently returned to the entertainment industry when she participated in tvN's reality show "Mama The Idol," which gave former female K-pop idols, who are now mothers, another chance to sing and dance on stage after years of being on hiatus.
"Mama The Idol" produced the six-member project girl group MAMADOL, where former Wonder Girls Sunye serves as the main vocalist. The band also consists of After School Kahi, Jewelry Jungah, Baby V.O.X. Re.V Yang Eunji, Hyun Jyuni and Byul.

LOONA's Latest Comeback With Fourth EP "[&]"
In other news, MAMADOL Sunye's labelmates LOONA has not released new music to date. The girl group's latest comeback is in June 2021 when they released their fourth EP "[&]" (read as "and").

"[&]" marked the return of LOONA member Haseul, who went on a temporary hiatus due to health issues that occurred in 2020. Shortly after its release, the EP became the group's fastest and best-selling album. It sold more than 76,000 copies in the first week, breaking their previous record of 46,913 copies set by their third EP "[12:00]."
Moreover, LOONA's "[&]" became the group's first album to land all of the tracks on the Gaon Download Chart. The title track "PTT (Paint the Town)" even became the girls' first entry on the Gaon Digital Chart.
