BLACKPINK Jennie to Make First Variety Show Appearance in 3 Years
On the evening of February 23, YG Entertainment supporters were shocked when "The Game Caterers 2" released a preview clip for their upcoming episode.
The game show gathered top YG Entertainment artists, namely Sechskies Eun Jiwon, WINNER Song Mino and Jinu (Kim Jinwoo), iKON Song and Jay, TREASURE's Jihoon and Hyunsuk, AKMU Lee Chanhyuk and BLACKPINK Jennie.

This is Jennie's first variety show appearance in three years. The idol stood out as the only female idol among the cast members. In the preview, Jennie attracted attention as she played games and let out excited screams, showing how much fun she was having while filming.
One particular moment that attracted the most attention was when Jennie stood in front of her YG Entertainment artists and danced to Red Velvet's hit song, "Red Flavor." The BLACKPINK member showed off her confident dance steps, not missing a beat, showing how much love she has for her colleague and friends, Red Velvet!

Jennie is known to be close friends with Irene. In February 2019, the two were seen having a lunch date in Los Angeles and were even spotted fighting over the bill!
In addition, the two are often seen interacting on music shows and award ceremonies, proving they have a close bond.
Many jokes that Jennie performing "Red Velvet" only resurfaced the ship between her and Irene.
Meanwhile, others expressed excitement over Jennie appearing on a show and interacting with her YG Entertainment labelmates.
