ASTRO Members Revealed to Be Co-Trainees of 'All of Us Are Dead' Star Yoon Chan Young
On the latest broadcast of KBS's "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook," which aired on Feb. 25, Yoon Chan Young along with his "All of Us Are Dead" co-star Lee Yoo Mi.
During the interview segment of the program, host Yoo Hee Yeol brought up the topic of Chan Young being a former K-pop trainee. He said, "I just discovered this about Chan Young. It turns out you used to be an idol trainee."

When asked to elaborate his life as a trainee, Yoon began his story by saying that he started training when he was already working as an actor. "I got a call from a company, and I ended up signing with them," he continued.
The "All of Us Are Dead" star went on to say that the agency who reached out to him suggested that if he learned to sing and dance at a young age, it would help him in the future.
"So I became a kind of part-time trainee. I trained with other trainees at the agency, almost as hard as them. That's how I met the ASTRO hyungs," Yoon Chan Young revealed.

The actor then recalled a memorable moment on his first day of training. He shared that he encountered ASTRO Rocky eating dinner when he entered the practice room.
"And to welcome me, he bought me bulgogi stew. Ten years have gone by since then, but that memory remains in my heart," he added.
Yoo Hee Yeol later asked how old ASTRO Rocky was at the time and the "All of Us Are Dead" actor responded, "I think he was 15. I was 13."

ASTRO to Hold Their Sixth Anniversary Fan Meeting - Here Are the Details
In other news, ASTRO has recently announced their plans to hold a fan meeting in celebration of their sixth anniversary in the K-pop industry, which took place on Feb. 23.
The six-member boy group will host their "2022 ASTRO AROHA Festival - Gate 6" fan meeting on March 13 at 1 p.m. KST and 7 p.m. KST. It will be held face to face at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. Aside from the live audience members, global fans will also get the chance to attend the event through an online live broadcast.

"2022 ASTRO AROHA Festival - Gate 6" will mark ASTRO's first in-person fan meeting in two years since "The 3rd ASTRO AROHA Festival - Black" took place in 2019.
Ticket sales for ASTRO's fan meeting in March have begun on Feb. 24 for official fan club members, while ticket sales for the general public have started on Feb. 28.
