WayV Sparks Comeback Rumors as Member Hendery Heads to China
On March 2 KST, media outlet Newsen reported that WayV member Hendery was spotted at Incheon International Airport early in the morning, looking laidback in his casual clothing of a white hoodie, baggy jeans, and brown boots.
According to the media outlet, the idol is reportedly on his way over to Guangzhou, China. However, his reasons for traveling to the country remains a mystery, as WayV's labels SM Entertainment and Label V did not announce any schedule of Hendery's.
Following reports of Hendery heading to China, the WayV member immediately began to trend on several social media platforms, including Twitter and it's Chinese-equivalent, Weibo. Along with Hendery, WayV also started trending online.
WayV fans, also known as WayZenNi, soon erupted in excitement as Hendery was finally "going home". However, his trip to China has also sparked comeback rumors for the group.

WayZenNi began to speculate that members Kun and Yangyang will also be heading to the country soon, and that the members are slated to reunite as a whole in China to potentially prepare for a new music release in the near future.
However, Lucas' participation in WayV's future group activities remains unsure, as the idol became embroiled in a series of controversies 2021, where he was accused of gaslighting, cheating, and leeching off his ex-girlfriends.
Following his controversy, his and Hendery's single "Jalapeño," which was originally slated to release back on August 25, was postponed indefinitely.
