Former Wonder Girls member Sunye shared what action she'll take if one of her daughters desires to become a K-pop idol.

Sunye Shares What Action She'll Take If Her Daughter Decides to Debut as a K-pop Idol
On March 6, Sunye made a guest appearance on SBS' television program "My Little Old Boy."
During the conversation, show host Seo Jang Hoon brought up Sunye's singing career. He first asked her around what age she became interested in singing.
The former Wonder Girls member replied that she is uncertain when she started to like singing, but she had loved singing since she was very young. She continued that her grandparents would play trot songs and she would sing along to them every time.

Seo Jang Hoon then asked Sunye, "If one of your daughters desires to become a K-pop idol in the future, what would you say to her?"
In response, the legendary singer stated that she will first examine if she has the talent for it. "I'll also check how serious she is about her dream to debut in the K-pop industry. I won't just say 'yes,'" she added.
The "Nobody" singer went on to say that after evaluating her daughter's skills to become an idol, she will think about what advice she can give her that will help her in the industry.

Min Sunye tied the knot with Korean-Canadian James Park in January 2013, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in October of the same year. The family moved to Canada even if Sunye's contract with JYP Entertainment had not expired. She eventually left the group and JYP in 2015 and is now a mother to three beautiful daughters.
Meanwhile, Sunye also mentioned Wonder Girls' long-awaited reunion during her appearance on "My Little Old Boy." She said that she would love to see all of the members perform together again.
She continued that an opportunity for them to reunite would ultimately come at the right time and that she is also anticipating it.
Former Wonder Girls' Sunye's Recent Activities
Min Sunye returned to the entertainment industry in December 2021 when she participated in tvN's reality show "Mama the Idol," which aired from December 2021 to February 2022. This program gave six legendary female idols a chance to stand on stage again, debuting them as the project girl group MAMADOL.
This past Jan. 28, MAMADOL made their debut with the digital single "WooAh HIP," with Sunye as the main vocalist. The sextet disbanded in February as the reality show has ended.

On Feb. 4, Sunye and her former JYP labelmate 2AM Seulong released a remake of J.Y. Park's 2007 song "Farewell Under the Sun."
On Feb. 17, it was revealed that Sunye had signed an exclusive contract with Blockberry Creative, the subsidiary label of Polaris Entertainment, where the former Wonder Girls member was previously signed to. Blockberry Creative is also known to be home to the girl group LOONA.
Sunye's musical activities under Blockberry Creative are yet to be announced.
