About C-JeS Entertainment and Its Artists
C-JeS Entertainment was founded in 2009 by Baek Chang Ju to meet the management needs of JYJ, which consists of former TVXQ members Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu, and Park Yoochun. Baek met these three idols after they filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. C-JeS was established shortly after that.
In an interview, C-JeS's founder said that the label was built solely because of JYJ. He also shared that he invested heavily in building JYJ's image and credibility after the Korean entertainment industry closed its doors on the male idols dubbed as "rebels" for going against SM.
