(G)I-DLE Soyeon and HyunA have sparked discusstions due to a potential diss that their respective fans are speculating.
Read below to know what happened.
Did (G)I-DLE Diss HyunA in 'TOMBOY'?
On Monday, March 14, (G)I-DLE dropped their first full-length album, "I Never Die," alongside the title track "TOMBOY."

After listening to the lyrics of "TOMBOY," some of HyunA's fans aka A-ings became convinced that Soyeon dissed their fave in the track.
Others also pointed out the similarities between (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY" and Soyeon's rap verse in "NEVER STOP ME."
In the song "TOMBOY," Soyeon mentions the term "ping pong," which is the title of one of HyunA's songs with her fiancé DAWN.
I’m trying to figure out how this correlates to dissing hyuna !? pic.twitter.com/222acpOp57

Soyeon said that she would rather film a TikTok instead of playing ping pong. A-ings thought that this meant she would rather film a TikTok video instead of listening to HyunA and DAWN's song.
However, Neverlands immediately came to (G)I-DLE and Soyeon's defense. They said that it is possible that the term "ping pong" in "TOMBOY" does not have anything to do with HyunA.
After all, the term could also refer to the back and forth between couples, which is what "TOMBOY" is all about.
But HyunA's fans are not 100 percent convinced, especially after they heard Soyeon's verse in "NEVER STOP ME." One of her lines is about being scolded by daddy out of the company. There was also a mention of a wedding.
the song is literally about a crazy ex trying to sabotage her ex's wedding and the deeper meaning is a nod to soojin (like the whole album is). why are you taking one tiny part of the lyrics to twist the meaning and spread misinformation? hyuna doesn't even fit here??? stupid😭 https://t.co/aVX6VgV1YE pic.twitter.com/LTqMULmsUK

A-ings know that HyunA was kicked out of Cube Entertainment after she confirmed her relationship with DAWN.

Just recently, the K-pop idols announced their engagement, which means that they are now busy planning their wedding.
Neverlands and A-ings fans have been going back and forth trying to decipher whether the two tracks were meant to be a diss.
(G)I-DLE Referenced Soojin in 'TOMBOY'?
Out of nowhere, former (G)I-DLE member Soojin was also dragged into the matter. Listeners said the line "out of the company" could have been a reference to Soojin.
Fans also noticed the number of balloons featured in the music video for "TOMBOY."
Since there are six red and pink heart balloons, they believe that one represents former member Soojin.
NOT TO BE THAT NEVIE BUT HOW MANY BALLOONS??!?!
