SM Entertainment Reveals NCT Dream Chenle Suffers Ankle Injury Ahead of 'Glitch Mode' Comeback
On March 16 KST, SM Entertainment revealed through a statement that NCT Dream member, Chenle, had suffered an ankle injury. This was during the group's preparation for their upcoming second studio album "Glitch Mode." He is currently receiving treatment for it.
SM Entertainment also states that Chenle will be focusing on recovering from his ankle injury. However, he will continue to join promotional activities for the album as long as he does not overexert himself.
With that, the Big 4 label also asks fans for their understanding. In case it becomes too difficult for the NCT member to participate in choreographies, he can take it easy.

"[NCT] Chenle had recently sustained an injury to his left ankle while preparing for NCT Dream's second studio album and is currently receiving treatment [for it]. as the artist's health is our top priority, we hoped to have Chenle focus on recovering from his injury. However, Chenle expressed his strong intention to meet fans and participate in the album's promotions. And so we have decided that he will be participating in the [scheduled] activities as long as he does not overexert himself. However, we would like to ask for your understanding in advance that it will be difficult for Chenle to participate in performances which requires excessive movement, and we promise to do our best so that our artist can recover and show you a healthy image as soon as possible."

More About NCT's 'Glitch Mode' Album
Meanwhile, NCT Dream is slated to return with an intense, more energetic color in their second studio album "Glitch Mode," this coming March 28 at 6pm KST.
The group's "Glitch Mode" album will contain a total of 11 songs. This includes their addictive title track of the same name. In addition, their intro song ,"Fire Alarm," will express NCT Dream's ambition to surprise the world once again with their impact.
The album will also include the suspenseful B-side track "Arcade." A hip-hop dance track features the members' signature vocals and powerful beat. The motif of the lyrics is an arcade game, containing the confident message that "you must follow me if you want to win the game."
