On May 6, 2009, 2NE1 debuted with the single "Fire." The YG Entertainment girl group won their first music show award 23 days after their debut on SBS's "Inkigayo." The girl group won another for the song on June 21, 2009.

S.E.S. made their debut on November 1, 1997, with the single "I'm Your Girl." The girl group won their first music show win 23 days after their debut on "Show! Music Tank." For 22 years, they held the record for the most music show wins for a debut song. ITZY would later break this record.

On July 1, 2021, miss A made their debut with the single "Bad Girl, Good Girl." Twenty-one days after their debut, miss A took home their first music show trophy on Mnet's "M Countdown." Ultimately, the song won "Song of the Year" in the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMAs).

(G)I-DLE made their debut on May 2, 2018, with the single "LATATA." Twenty days after (G)I-DLE's debut, the girl group won their first music show win on SBS MTV's "THE SHOW" on May 22, 2018. They won a total of three music show wins during this era.
