2PM Jun.K Reveals He's the First JYP Artist Whose Self-Written Song Was Selected as the Title Track
At JYP Entertainment, it is known that founder and producer Park Jinyoung (J.Y. Park) is highly involved in the album production of the label's artists, from the first-generation singers to the latest JYP acts. He's the one who writes and composes songs that are usually used as the title tracks.
Some JYP artists also contribute songs for the albums of their respective groups but not all tracks get accepted. If they do get approved by J.Y. Park, the songs are only included as B-sides and rarely be chosen as the lead single.

But, 2PM Jun.K managed to make his self-written song become the title of his group's album, becoming the first JYP artist to do so. This is what he revealed during his latest radio show appearance.
On March 17, Jun.K guested on KBS Cool FM's "Music Plaza," which Highlight's Lee Gikwang now hosts.
During the broadcast, Lee Gikwang revealed that he likes 2PM songs such as "My House" and "Go Crazy!" These are just two of the tracks that 2PM member Jun.K wrote.
The "Music Plaza" DJ then said, "I heard that one time your song was chosen as the title track and you cried on the roof."

Jun.K responded, "During those times, there was still no JYP artist whose self-written song was selected as the title track. Luckily, my song became the title track."
He continued that he went straight to the rooftop of JYP Entertainment's building to call his mother, and he was in tears while he was telling her the good news.
"My mother believed in me a lot while I was studying how to compose songs when I was young. I cried while remembering the support she have shown me," 2PM Jun.K further stated.
Jun.K has been writing songs for 2PM since 2011. His first work is the B-side song "Hot" from the group's second studio album "Hands Up."
Aside from his own group, the male idol also writes and composes tracks for other artists including GOT7, Baek A Yeon, for his bandmates, and more. He also pens songs for his own solo albums.
